The morning will start with a 1hr15 minute vinyasa flow yoga class led by Kate. We will explore poses that gently stretch each muscle group to awaken the body, all of which are suitable for beginners and the more experienced as variations will be offered to deepen all postures.
Learn some pranayama (breath awareness) exercises to channel the energy raised by the postures, affecting your oxygen, serotonin and gama levels. You will experience how pranayama influences the way you feel, think and connect to everyone around you. We will finish with a deep relaxation practice, yoga nidra, which will leave you feeling more in tune with your body, utterly relaxed yet energised, ready to face the New Year.
A delicious, nutritious 3 course brunch follows. There will be a selection of overnight oats or porridge and seasonal fruit compote, homemade kefir yoghurt, buttermilk muffins with berries, seeds and nuts, homemade sourdough and breakfast breads, and frittatas with seasonal roast root vegetables.
Freshly made superfood juices such as beet, apple and ginger or pomegranate, celery and mint give you an anti-oxidant boost. There will be plentiful chai, turmeric and cinnamon lattes, fresh herb teas laced with honey and spices, and freshly roasted coffee.
Everything is made fom scratch by our talented team from top quality organic ingredients, carefully chosen to increase our vitamin, mineral and anti-oxidant levels during these winter months.
St Faith’s Paris Hall, St Cross , Winchester is a warm, inviting space that will be decorated with flowers and candles for our mini retreat.
